Dr. Mark Stein graduated from Yale University School of Medicine and completed a residency in urology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Stein received specialized training in incontinence and neuro-urology at UCLA and the University of Michigan. In addition to general urology, Dr. Stein specializes in the treatment of erectile dysfunction, voiding dysfunction and prosthetic surgery.
Dr. Stein started his professional career as Assistant Professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. During this time, he conducted research, published numerous papers in academic journals and presented research at many national and international urologic and surgical meetings. He received research awards from the American College of Surgeons and the American Urological Association.
Dr. Stein later joined the practice of Advanced Urology. The practice became part of Integrated Medical Professionals, a division of Solaris Healthcare.
Dr. Stein currently operates and has privileges at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital, Weil Cornell Hospital / New York Presbyterian Medical Center and Phelps Hospital, part of Northwell Health. He is a member of the American Urological Association, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Society for Urodynamics and Female Urology, Society of Prosthetic Surgeons, and the International Society for Sexual Medicine.
